Job Role

The successful candidate will be providing technical and diagnostic assistance on various compressed air systems and equipment within the service department.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out correct and accurate fault diagnosis on air compressors.
• Carrying out servicing and repairs to various compressors and vacuum pumps in the workshop and in the field.
• Ensure customer service excellence to both internal and external customers.
• Interpreting and understanding schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, etc
• Ensure adherence and compliance to the Company’s SHE objectives.
• Be willing to work overtime, standby and be available for call outs as and when required.
• Refrigeration dryer service work and troubleshooting

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

• Technical knowledge and understanding of compressed air equipment/ environment, with a minimum of 3 years working experience essential.
• Specific knowledge of controller programming and /or software controller experience – PC literate
• Refrigeration dryer repair experience/knowledge
• Completed technical qualification advantageous.
• Diesel engine mechanic experience/knowledge advantageous.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with customers and internal departments
• Highly motivated, detailed orientated and customer focused.
• Must have a technical aptitude.
• Need to be able to work quickly, neatly, and accurately.
• Accountability and dependability essential.
